Inspiring Thoughts for New Year

Enjoying life? Father God, let us not forget though to help especially those that are in need. Help others to succeed as we strive to do our best. I pray that our presence will make the atmosphere better . Laugh more and enjoy life, but cry and show mercy with those that are hurting. Let us to be able to grow in our own failures. Thank you for letting us enjoy every small details in our lives. Be thankful for the thousand things we sometimes take for granted. Help us to be humble in all our ways. Be our guide Lord in the year 2014 and all the years to come. .

Thanks to my friend in FB who  shared these  very inspiring  words. This is simply awesome!
Happy New Year 2014!

Wednesday

Thanksgiving Quote

"I do not think of all the misery,
but of the glory that remains.
Go outside into the fields, nature and the sun,
go out and seek happiness in yourself and in God.
Think of the beauty that again
and again discharges itself within
and without you and be happy."

Anne Frank

Happy Thanksgiving day to everyone!

Friday

Learning from Mistakes!

"Mistakes are lesson of wisdom.
When you make a mistake,
don't look back at it for long.
Take the lesson and move forward.

Although the past cannot be changed;
How to escape the future is still in your hands."

Stronger Than You Think

"You are stronger than you think,
remember to stand tall.
Every challenge in your life helps you to grow.
Every problem you encounter strengthens your mind and soul.
Every trouble you overcome increases your understanding of life.
When all your troubles weigh heavily on your shoulders,
Remember that beneath the burden you can stand tall,
Because you are never given more than you can handle..
And you are stronger than you think."

Nice Quote to Share...Never Judge

I just read this in my friend's wall in facebook who currently works in Kuwait...just thought of sharing this here than posting in my own FB wall. Thanks Ye for these nice words...

"Before you judge my life, my past or my character...
Walk in my shoes.
Walk the path I have traveled,
live my sorrow, my doubts,
my fear, my pain and my laughter!
Remember, "Judge not least ye be judged."
Everyone has his own story!
When you've lived my life,
then you can judge me!"

Saturday

The Quote

"I have an old nature that noisily clamors
To satisfy empty desire;
But God in His goodness has sent me a Helper
Who whispers, "Your calling is higher."

-Gustafson.

Beautiful Quote!

The value of work is not measured in material or financial gain.
It is on the part of you that goes with what you have done.
Your work defines you.

Indeed hard work brings forth self respect and believing in one's self.

We don't have a sunflower field near our area this year. This was taken last year 2010.

Monday

The Cherry Blossom in our Garden and the Quote

Ambition is not always wrong.
But when it consumes us
So that we can't wait for God,
We display luck of faith.

When we submit our desires and goals to the Lord,
We can be sure that He will give us
What is best. -Dave Brannon.

Lord, grant us now the grace to wait,
To trust alone in You,
Lest we set goals outside Your will
That we with zeal pursue. -Anon.

The cherry blossom in our garden. Sad to say that due to the past cold and freezing nights sometimes, most of its small fruits got frozen and turned brown. I am just hoping that we will get some sweet red cherry fruits this year.

A Prayer and the Beautiful Scene

"Lord, grant me grace throughout this day
To walk the straight and narrow way,
To do whatever in Thy sight
Is good and perfect, just and right."

-Huisman.

The only way is the straight and narrow way.

Envy and True Happiness

Are you envy with someone? Envy (also called invidiousness) is best defined as an emotion that "occurs when a person lacks another's (perceived) superior quality, achievement, or possession and either desires it or wishes that the other lacked it." This is the meaning provided by wikipedia. Don't you know that envy is one of the causes of unhappiness and insecurity? It is also not good when an envious person wishes to inflict misfortune on others. I had the same experience when someone due to her envy to me was telling heresies and false stories over me. There is really nothing to be envied about me. I am not rich, nor famous and I only live a very simple but quite happy life. It is sometimes painful when a friend you trusted will be the one who will put you down. It gave me some lessons and I learned from it.

For us to be happy, we need to be contented and satisfied of what we have.

This is a very nice quote posted by a friend in FB. I also want to share it to everyone.

"We have often looked at others with envy forgetting that true happiness comes from within and not from what our eye may see."

Here is also a comment left by one of his friend in FB.

"I'm past being envious with anyone anymore...coz i know that if they have more, they paid more....some paid with money...some paid with hard work...some paid with their honor and dignity...some paid more than what they bargained for..."
