My Daily Nourishment for Today

The Lord is our Strength and our shield

If the LORD delights in a man's way,
he makes his steps firm;

Though he stumble, he will not fall,
for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

Psalm 27:23,24 NIV

You will raise up the age-old foundations;

And you will be called the repairer of the breach,
The restorer of the streets in which to dwell."

Grow in Grace

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the glory and praise of God.

Inspirational Words To Ponder!

Isn't it great if we only give love everyday! Here is a very beautiful message about Love! I wish I always have Love in my heart! I'm trying!

"Love One Another

For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother's righteous. Do not be surprised, brothers,[a] that the world hates you. We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

My Daily Bread

Good Morning To All! I hope you have a great and blessed day! Below are some beautiful words to start up in the morning!

Grow up in Him!

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Ephesians 4:11-16 KJV

Seek wisdom from The Lord

Words To Ponder

How's everyone? I hope that we are all doing good despite of what is happening around the world now, the global crisis as we say. Let's keep on praying that this will be slowly resolved to make the economy better. I would like to also pray especially to those workers who had lost their jobs that they may find another one soon. Don't lost hope God always has reasons for everything that happen in our lives. Below are very nice words to ponder. This is a subscribed mail from arcamax.com and before I delete, I just thought of sharing this to you. have a great one to all!

Jesus: Lord and Christ

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Acts 2:36-41 King James Version

Hello. How Are You?

Nice to be backed here and share some good thoughts and story for today. Hello! How are you? I hope everything is great. I can't afford to delete this very beautiful story in my inbox without sharing it to you. It is a subscribed email from mountainwings.com...visit their site for more inspirational stories..Truly beautiful!! please read and share to your friends!! have a great and blessed Monday to all..take care!!

Hello. How Are You?

1.) Hello.
3.) How are you?
4.) Hello. How are you?

Four words or less could make a world of difference.

I just heard the sad news that a colleague of mine took his
own life over the weekend. My initial reaction was: why? I
guess my reason was that we both work for a company that is
fairly stable in this economy, his life was full of energy on
and off work, he was young and he had a lot of friends.
Everything was perfect!

Or so it seemed.

Hello.
At a session to share our memories of him, someone brought it
up that it might be a good idea to always reach out to people
we know who might be going through rough times emotionally,
financially, spiritually or in any other way they might not be
feeling fulfilled.

How are you?
My expansion on this is to say this should not just be to our
friends and family alone but to anyone we come in contact with
in our daily life or even just once in a lifetime.

There have been moments in my life that I needed to share
things on my mind but did not know who to speak with. Or
moments that I just wanted to talk to a stranger who will not
give a biased opinion because they were my friends. When
people go through hard times, they become more of what they
are, the quiet withdraw more or the talkative increase their
chatter. A few simple signs could tell us something is wrong.

Hello, how are you?
When I was much younger, a girl on my street caught my eye and
I always promised myself that I would summon the courage to
say hello and become her friend. I never did. She died of a
sickness I had survived a few years earlier. My family was
aggressive with testing and we diagnosed it very quickly.

I keep wondering, what if I had said those four words, would
it have led to me sharing my survival story and would she
still be alive now? I will never know the answer to that.
However, you can! Not the answer to my question but you can
say those few words and you never know; it may just save a
life!

My MountainWings Moment resolution is, as simple as it may
seem, 1, 3, 4 or more words may just bring back a life or
bring a smile at least.

I know I need a smile to get me going once in a while.

Pursue Purity

All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.

Nice Words

Good and Upright Is the LORD

GOD is fair and just;
He corrects the misdirected,
Sends them in the right direction.

He gives the rejects his hand,
And leads them step-by-step.

From now on every road you travel
Will take you to GOD.
Follow the Covenant signs;
Read the charted directions.

Keep up your reputation, GOD;
Forgive my bad life;
It's been a very bad life.

My question: What are God--worshipers like?
Your answer: Arrows aimed at God's bull's-eye.

They settle down in a promising place;
Their kids inherit a prosperous farm.

God--friendship is for God--worshipers;
They are the ones he confides in.

A Saviour is Born

In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night.

And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened.

But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

"This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,

"Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace among men
with whom He is pleased."

Magnify the Lord - Luke 1:46-55 KJV

And Mary said,

My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;

As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

Luke 1:46-55 KJV

You will not fear the terror of night,

nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.

MORE PAINFUL!

There is only one thing more painful
than learning from experience,
and that is not learning from experience.

by: Lawrence J. Peter

This quote just remind me of my vacation in England. There is no such thing as perfect. You go for a vacation to enjoy the interesting places and entertain yourself but sometimes there are just some bad things or circumstances that happens to you. The best thing is that you learn from all of these happenings. and I really learned from all these bad experiences. Life is still beautiful and you must not let it ruin with bad happenings done by people with no heart and consideration!! I will be posting the detail of this story in a few days...keep visiting my other pages for more updates!! Enjoy your weekend!!

Inspiring Words For Today

I am just reminded of this inspiring words below. After helping my family for more than a decade now, I was please of what I have done. I know somebody from up above is also please about it. It is just a very nice feeling everytime you help somebody especially your family, friends, relatives or even a stranger who might want to know the way he/she is going. I have been helping my family ever since I worked in a financial institution before and even until now. If I have some extra money or something to help, I just can't say no. Being generous is such a virtuous gift. We are lucky if we are gifted with it. The best thing you have to consider is helping without expecting something in return and believed me in one way or another it will come back in folds to you. I experienced that thing. I have been the bread winner in the family. I helped sending my siblings to school. Thanks God that they made it. Our youngest sister will be taking the Nursing board exam this coming December and I hope and pray that with God' s help she will made it.

Just the other week, my brother left an IM in my yahoo messenger telling me that the wife of my cousin passed away due to cancer sickness. He was asking for some financial help. I told my brother to borrow some money and once I will be backed from my escapades in England, I will immediately send money. Yesterday I shared some blessings again and sent the money. I also would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to all friends out there who had helped me in my journey in life, to my family who have unendlessly extend their love and care, to my husband who has been supporting me and giving his endless love, affection and understanding and most of all to God Almighty who have been very kind to me despite my unfaithfulness and sinfulness. Thanks a lot dear Lord for all the blessings and the graces you have given unto me.

Read this very nice words below for more inspiration. This is an excerpts from arcamax.com..thanks a lot for sharing!

Sowing Generously

Remember: A stingy planter gets a stingy crop; a lavish planter gets a lavish crop. I want each of you to take plenty of time to think it over, and make up your own mind what you will give. That will protect you against sob stories and arm-twisting. God loves it when the giver delights in the giving.

God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you're ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done.

As one psalmist puts it,

He throws caution to the winds,
giving to the needy in reckless abandon.
His right-living, right-giving ways
never run out, never wear out.

This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God.

Meditation

Be Doers of the Word

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

James 1:19-25 (King James Version)

Thanking For All The Blessings

Sometimes we just feel that we are falling apart especially when there are problems or trials that are coming on our way. I had been a lot in this situation. I am just thankful that all these kind of problems are just passing by. I always believed that these are just part of our lives. It is just the way on how we accept and react on it. Always remember, there is always a solution to your problems..No matter how big it is, God will not give us one that we can't solve..Besides He is always there carrying it for us and helping us too..

We must always be thankful for everything that we receive in life, all the blessings and the graces we have everyday, we should always be thankful about it!! I am can be very happy when I wake up everyday with good health and my family and friends too!! that's all my personal sharing for today!! have a great evening!!
